Only 62 eggs today.... my girls are upset with me.

32 out of the current 36 laying age hens. 14 from the ducks though so there is that. 160 aren't at laying age yet sadly (in due time)

How old are your girls? I have a couple of 2 year old red sex links who've been dropping softies about once a month.

My oldest group is my 2 year old Australorps. The next group down will be a year in July. They include Brahma, Wyandotte, Orpington, EE and Dominique. And since we’re talking about irregularities, someone has been dropping a few very small eggs lately.

Laying is sporadic. 8 and 9 eggs then jump to 12. We had 9 today. A Brahma is acting broody.
