4 again today. Good news is all 3 broodies are now broken, though I know it may take a while for them to get back into laying if they even do before winter.

I have 9, 2 are banty. I have as many as @WallyG74 but 4 or 5 are too old to lay now

I'm getting one or two of those a week. I'm assuming it's related to the molting.

Well we were 1 shy of the elusive dozen. I knew they would lay good today with only 5 yesterday.
I worked my rearend off today. My wife wants laundry room chicks outside. It just so happens that I have a brooder outside, full of chicks! I made an all day push to finish the new banty coop and got really close. The lights went out and I had a Sunday school lesson to prepare. I was still working when my chickens went to bed. Anyway, I need to put hardware cloth on the door and temporarily close off pop door and nest door. They’re still little so those aren’t necessary right away. Oh yeah, roosts need to be installed. Super easy… cut tree, place in coop.
