Another dozen! I’m not holding my breath but I hope they can lay through the winter like this. Last winter had a lot of “0” days and I’m not talking about the temp. I also realize it’s not that close to winter yet.

Got got 8 from my big girls 0 from banty getting to show a bit of colour on the older three

11! Which is good for 22 birds, but 7 laying hens, and some that are just coming of age.

5 eggs today and 1 new crower in banty land! We heard it this morning right before the sun came up. It sounded like a dying animal, then my wife realized it was coming from the banty coop! We got a good laugh! That baby is trying hard at only 9 weeks old. No idea which one. I’ve got a minimum of 5 cockerels in that bunch.
