How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Whenever I've had new layers, or my older girls are going back into lay after they molt, I ALWAYS get the occasional weird eggs.

The banty coop has 3 mixed Serama hens and 4 Silkie pullets. The Silkies aren’t laying yet as they’re not quite 5 months old. The mixed Seramas are all laying and I’m wondering if one of them may be quite a bit older than I was told when I got them. The entire process of getting them was filled with lies so that is why I suspect one of them as the culprit.

I got 8 and my leghorn left me one of her large jumbo eggs again. Most are waiting for the cold snap to end they are crossing legs and holding.

Hard guess on why your getting the soft eggs. May I ask breed and age of the bird in question ?

9 eggs today. Got my first return customer after the break. My MIL loves our eggs! And FIL has been bugging her to call and check on our egg status.
