Egg eating in chickens can be tough to break

Yes it can be very hard, especially with my red hybrids. How do you know they're eating them if they don't leave any evidence? Hubby says to check their waddles and feet for sticky residue.

Everyone made it in the nest today! Fluffy laid hers later I was so excited, I had to get a picture of their success. Nice clean eggies before everyone got muddy feet…

4 eggs but I keep finding the Maran not near the nesting box… when we are done hacking back the jungle, no doubt I will find her nest. Today I blame Bigfoot! He must be getting all those other eggs!
