Oh, but ... Gracie, my Sheltie, found a stray egg and was bringing it to us. When my GirlChild (adult granddaughter) saw her, she dropped it and it broke. She is not an egg-eater. Whenever she finds stray eggs, she brings them to us.

I always get so far behind on this thread.

It was 14 or 15 today. Still mostly pullet. The hens are approaching 2 yo. Maybe slowing? Waiting for more light?

I want more chickens, but don't want more eggs.
