How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

19 out of 39 hens/pullets and a couple of those are double yolkers. My first egg from my girls was on 5/23/22. I hatched them on 1/10/22, 2/2/22 and 3/15/22. Bought some from TSC that hatched approximately 3/1/22. I was only getting like 3 a day, until I took 18 roos away. Left them with 5. Oh, and I have 1Cinnamon Queen/Brown Leghorn mix that has gone broody on me. I set her with a dozen eggs today.

7 from the big girls. As it get hot I am getting less eggs.

I had a lot of roos in this year’s hatches too. I did a small batch early and then set around 60 eggs the second time around. 2/3 of my chicks were male. That stopped me from hatching anymore other than what my broody bunch gave me.

7 from big girls .. 0 from banty too hot .. 89 today
Took a fall in the coop banged the knee up one deeper wound on the lower leg. I will be fine put silver on all of them .. no more bleeding but 2 bled good.
That was closing the coop for the night.
