Only 4 today. But all were in the nest box so no accidents!

6 out of 10. I did let my hubby know that some hens will possibly slow down once they're 3 years old . Sooo he made plans to build a grow out coop for my new babies !!! So looks like that poultry catalog I got will get used after all! I'm now planning which breeds to get in spring! Chicken math strikes again!

8 out of 18 new layers. Just started laying 3 wks ago. My olive egger has laid every single day without fail! I was amazed. I only have 11 that have laid their first egg. 1 is a Lgt Brama and I heard that they take forever to start and 2 are Polish so they will take longer i think as well.

So far this morning I have already gotten 3
