I got my first egg of the year yesterday! 0 today… I only have 4 laying hens, and 5 babies. My hens are only 11 months old, but just finished with a molt. Warm and longer days help!

25 eggs from my 26 hens today! It’s starting to warm up a bit so that is helping. One is not in the photo because it had a small hole in it.

We started like that on 30th January. Got 3 yesterday out of 4 so hopefully yours will all be laying in a couple of weeks. How old are the babies?

We had 8 from big girls. The 4 I bought at auction have started laying in the main coop,
Still sleep in the little coop.
