8/8. They've been filling my basket, this week. Went 'round to the neighbors today, sharing eggs. I do enjoy doing that

Well, funny story about that.
My chickens, daily, same time in the morning, will scream and even knock on the door and climb the stairs to take a “nap” in my bed, pretend to lay, then leave. Slackers. Sometimes they do it multiple times before going outside and laying in the coop.

My flock of six are loving their new add on coop… The 2 EE roosters are hanging around the coop but I’m still not ready to let them move in…They seem to get along fine if there is wire between them

We had an extremely heavy rain last night that seems to agitate the hens. Middle Tennessee!

Seems when I move their things it makes them uncomfortable, It’s a never ending chore! they knock it down or poop on it! in no certain order

When in middle TN those heavy rains used to make me uncomfortable and such. Today I was uncomfortable leaving my wife to go out and gather eggs. They will wait til morning.

1 today!! It was relatively thin shelled, and got cracked somewhere between the coop and my kitchen....(my grandson) but it was an egg. First one in forever.
