Ooh, be careful with the goats eating the chicken feed. It can possibly cause bloat if they eat too much. I had goats several years ago. They were crazy for chicken food... and willow trees, rose bushes, aspen trees. Basically anything I didn't want them eating. I had my hands full with those two wild girls.Jackpot! I got 1 fairy egg this morning and 7 normal size eggs this afternoon from 8 ladies.Three were in a single nest box (they have 6 nest boxes) and 4 were in the goat house. My son suggested the goats may be laying eggs from all the chicken feed they eat lol
My rooster keeps them in line...most of the time. I don't know what he did to them but they run when they see him coming lolOoh, be careful with the goats eating the chicken feed. CONGRATULATIONS! The first egg is such a special event! And a beautiful shade of green!I got 1!!!! My first one!!! I don’t know who it came from but it had to be one of the olive Eggers. My flock is just over 19 weeks old and finally got the first one.
