There are two in the dog house/cat house/hen nesting box. It's so wet I don't want to go back out.

I gathered three eggs today from seven pullets, one which is broody. The Sussex are 7 1/2 months old, the Dominiques are just 6 months old this week. One of them doesn't have her big girl comb yet.

I can wait.

8 out of a possible 9. I have 6 more pullets that are 14 weeks and a couple days old. They should be laying in another month or so. They grow so fast, seems like a I just moved them out of the brooder then I blinked and now there are like nearly full sized chickens. The barred rock is even starting to grow in her big girl comb and wattles. They are still pretty small she is gaining a lot of color in her whole face.
