9 today. one of my Wyandottes put up quite a fight over the eggs. I’m not sure if she is going broody or I just caught her in a bad mood. Once I took the eggs she did leave the nest and didn’t go back to sit on the ceramic eggs I keep in the boxes.

My stove quit working this wk so I gave all my eggs away rather than overfill my counter space! My girls lay 12 eggs a day sometimes less which is more than enough for me.

Mei’s vary so much. Here’s a photo of her egg the other day, and then another of today’s handful (Mei’s is the dark one on the right). It’s always so fun to see what she’ll give me!
