Yes this weather has them all confused. My ducks are mating and laying and for February that is unheard of in Ohio.

Our EE who stopped laying in I think early november is laying again. She hates snow it seems. She would never come out if theres snow on the ground lol. I wish our geese would be triggered to lay lol. I'm excited to see goose eggs but their holding out. I heard mid feb to mid may. I wish it would be soon lol

3 eggs today, Juillet, Juin and Août. I got to pet Juillet while she was in the nest box

My husband and I went on a trip and had some family keeping an eye on our animals for us. I came home to find that although our 23 chickens had been fed and watered, no eggs were collected in 2 weeks. There are 160 eggs today to collect- I ran out of cartons, I'll be back out in a couple hours to finish up. Whew.

I’m not sure I’ve been diligent posting but I’ve had two eggs every night this week. The Golden Comets are very dependable but the Banty hens are freeloading.
