How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I went out in between strong storms. The ladies are wet and mad that I won’t let them out. Had two escape but tracked them down. 8 eggs today! With 208 for the month of April and it ain’t over yet!

Banty math ain’t mathin’! I have no rooster, so chicks ain’t happenin’ …PLUS I’m not set up to raise chicks, or have them raise any.

Well, but you could always get them some fertilized eggs... just a few little bantam eggs you will hardly notice them under the broody...

The weather this weekend was lovely. I enjoyed having the Empress underfoot while watering the garden. Hopefully we will have the fence up soon so the rest of the ladies can join in on the fun.

Just one today, from reliable little Juin.

Juillet sat in the coop for an hour today and didn’t lay an egg. She kept Juin’s egg nice and warm though.
