How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

2 this morning. A few minutes ago I heard Wellie screaming inside the coop while the rooster stood guard. I went to see what was happening, well she laid an egg. No speckles, So 3 oy of 4 today.
I can't wait for all 4 adults hens to lay in 1 day.

We are averaging 10-12 a day that we find. 2 hens have a nest somewhere hiding them from us. One of those two just got over being broody. When they started to hatch she panicked and killed the first to hatch. I put her eggs in an incubator and tried to see if she would take it. She wanted nothing to do with any little chicken. First time mama. One of these days I'm taking time to watch and see which way they go when I turn them out in the morning. In this heat I'll feed any found eggs to the crows.

Yesterday 7/7.. but only 6/7 today, one was scared by the dogs again so she shut the door.
Friggin neighbours know to not set the dogs off when the girls are trying to lay.
Most days 7/7. Mumma's been 3 on 1 off for the last month but she has pneumonia and her supply might be lowering. 40-49 a week from 2*22wk + 5*20wk plus 5-6 from mumma

Slacking again but here goes : 9 Friday, 11 Saturday and 10 Sunday. Not sure about today's as I am still at work.
We did get a lovely afternoon thunderstorm that is long overdue so very happy about that.

I got 7 duck eggs today but did not get them all yesterday as I was in the pen early and I was early today too so I am sure they laid some after I left. Some of the ones I got today were from yesterday's laying. With the heat we have been having I have been lucky to get any at all.

Went home to 6 eggs from 11 ladies today.
