That two tone egg is cool!

I got 5 eggs today, plus I caught a chicken eating egg #6. The hen that didn't lay is on her way out.
She has a bad case of ascites. Her belly is extended quite a bit from the buildup of liquid.

I thought about putting her down but she's eating and interacting with the flock somewhat for now. She's not quite lethargic, but she doesn't move around the way she used to. I'm not going to attempt draining the fluid.

When her condition worsens to the point that I think it's necessary I'll release her from her misery.

I got 5 from 6 however today is a really cool egg collecting. One egg is rather large -extra large and it's a gray-greenish-blue.

Looks like I got 4 eggs today. One is not fit to eat so I'm going to use it to fertilize my dwarf tomato plant in a bucket project.

All 3 today! Août’s was extra long, speckled and pointy, and Juillet’s had subtle layers of slightly different browns. Juin’s was perfect and creamy like always

Those are so pretty. Today I got my first egg that wasn't beige, brown or white. It was so cool. I weighed it but can't remember what it was.
