Very good point. I would rather cull a rooster than have it abused.

Yes I am very conscious of how my pets are treated. I would rather keep them here and just deal with their behaviour than subject them to abuse.

Meanwhile…..
13 eggs today, plus a small blue egg - is it one of the older ladies? Or one of the new pullets? It was a nice deep blue/green egg.
