Eggs aren't as budget friendly as they used to, so I hear.
I haven't shopped for them for quite a while.
6 eggs today from my ladies who have allowed be to skip the egg section in the grocery store for 14sh months!

Bakers dozen today

13 was enough for 2 dozen eggs from today and yesterday.

A friend just texted me today saying her hens stopped laying a few weeks ago so she had to buy some at the grocery. She bought the closest thing farm eggs she could find and they were $8 a dozen! Makes me feel better about pricing mine at $5/doz.

Since I only have Juin laying now, we’re just going to use egg replacers for baking, like pumpkin, flax or applesauce.

My pullet Helmi’s comb and wattles are really getting big, so I don’t think it’ll be long until she starts laying and we can go back to egg burritos for breakfast!

I've been stocking up with eggs in the fridge. My hens are going on 19 months old and haven't stopped laying and haven't molted yet. I want to be prepared for when they do molt.

That 4 Eggs a Day pic I posted... I didn't really read it. It said "4 Eggs" at the top, and that's how many I got today.
