Juin took her weekly day off a little sooner than usual. Hoping I find her molting tomorrow, so that when we move them into their new coop next week she’ll not be freaking out wondering why she can’t get to her favorite nest box.

My pullets are 20 weeks old today! They’re as big as the hens! Well, not as big as Juillet, but bigger than Juin and my deflated Août who’s molting again. Her new feathers from the first molt are looking nice though!

Sadly, I got no eggs. My girls are recovering & scared. A raccoon got in a took a bird. My 2 Belgian Mallinois shepherds were the house the night of the attack. Tonight we sat quietly on back porch & the shepherds sprung into action & got him. Reinforced coop all weekend. Thanks for letting me join the group. Sunny
