I went to put a letter in the mail so I checked and cinnamon was working on laying so I will check later or tomorrow because the rain and wind are apparently not going anywhere for a few more days

1 today, from Août

Problem is, it broke! We are trying out kitty litter box pans for nesting boxes, and though Août loves using them, she apparently had trouble getting out of it today and flipped it over, catapulting her egg across the coop. I fed it back to the flock along with the heel of some homemade bread that had gotten dry, which was very much appreciated! Tomorrow we’re going to make some wooden frames to seat the boxes in so that she can easily climb out and in without overturning them.

4 blue, 3 green, 1 pink and the rest brown.

Not sure who all is laying right now, but I am sure it’s likely all the youngsters. And some of my last year hens.
