3 eggs yesterday.
Rose my unknown breed hen, Rose has a strange egg laying schedule.
1 week she lays 3 eggs,
The week after she lays 4 eggs
Then the week after that 5 eggs
Then she is back to 3 eggs and so it goes on in that cycle.

I know all these because I keep a register of eggs.

Got 4 but Penny was in the box when I went out earlier so I need to go get hers. Penny laid her egg so I got 5 and I think Darlin is slacking. Oh well we all need a break every once in a while

14 today, my Easter Eggers are starting to lay again.

Four today! One green, two brown, and one cream. Although, now I'm very confused as to who's laying. I collected 2 green eggs on the same day about a week ago which made me assume that my schijndelaar had started laying since shes the only other hen I have that can lay green eggs. However, I caught her in the nest box today and so I left her to finish only to find a cream egg in the box when she left?? It had blood streaks indicating it was someone's first egg.
So, either my speckled sussex finally started laying and I missed her egg and my schijndelaar was just chillin' in the nest box or my easter egger laid twice in one day a week ago and my "schijndelaar" is actually something else

That is an odd schedule!

I have my older hens who lay about 2 or 3 times a weeks but it’s nothing regular.

16 eggs today, I am glad they are slowing up a bit. I don’t need them laying all the time, my OEGB bantam pullet (Mr LC) is laying but she must be hiding her eggs again or has skipped some days. She had been laying in Georgie’s nest box in her pen, my one Azur (Flopsy) is laying in there also. But past couple days all I have are Georgie’s and Flopsy’s eggs.

Hmmmm egg hunt tomorrow I guess. She lays the most lovely pearly pink eggs
