been BUSY!! chicks doing alright
was gonna go to TSC and get some more but I think I will pack the brooder and overcrowd.

It's 3x8 so 24 square feet and ostensibly that's enough for quite a lot of chicks but I won't let them out to free range for WEEKS so not sure about that. Not quite sure how many I can really brood in there for comfort.

edit; did some Googling and it looks like 12 should work out

I have 11 in there now, but there are a bunch of Cockerels, we think 3 and maybe 5

So as they grow will be removing those (I will keep 1)

My crop issued hen has cleared crop this morning and no more liquid poop. I gave her oat meals @pennyJo1960 mentioned and it helps.

I read today that we will continue to have egg shortage for the next year due to bird flu..etc.. I am thinking might be there soon will be a rise in demand for roosters. I hope so as there are many roosters need a new home.
