How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Yesterday was just four. Today I got six and another broody stink-eye. We are NOT hatching again!

5 eggs today, from Marzo, Ebrel, Juin, Juillet and Août

Would have had 21 but I dropped one, it survived the fall onto the shavings covered floor, but it bounced into the wooden stairs and received a dent in the shell. I thought about keeping it for myself for cooking, but figured I had enough so I threw out into the yard, it broken open and the chooks were on it in a second!

14 today, unless they hid them somewhere outside. It was a lovely day and they were outside all day.

After four and six the past two days, I came in with SIXTEEN today from just twelve layers. I finally found the latest "secret" hidey-hole! I swear, bantams must be part cat. They can squeeze into some of tiniest little places!!
