5 eggs today, from all but Juin





Helmi laid just before bedtime, so I had to take the picture at dusk and in the rain. Pretty speckles though!

I was away so I couldn't update, but over the last 11 days (May 1rst - 11th) I got a total of 82 eggs (2 shy of 7 dozen)! I got 48 duck eggs, so 4 dozen of them. I got 34 chicken eggs, that's 2 less than 3 dozen.

Second day in a row I’ve gotten 1 egg! My 19 pullets are just starting to lay and I’m so excited to have my first two eggs!

I got about 8 or 9 from 16 hens, 12 five year olds, and 4 one year olds.

3 eggs today = 2 without egg shells and 1 good egg

2 hens on birth control
2 pullets 6 months old and not laying
2 molting since January, fully feathered now, but could not be bother with egg laying
1 serial free loader
2 hens can not be bothered with egg laying
1 hen lay egg part time only 3 /4 eggs a week.

Those are my adorable kids that I love all the way to the moon and back.
