How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

3 eggs today, from Helmikuu, Marzo and Ebrel

Dozen and a half though one is from wee Holly. Found a fragile broke egg, cleaned it out before it messed up any other eggs, had to clean 2 eggs as it is.

Yesterday, I got 8. 5 duck and 3 chicken.

Today, I got 7. 4 duck and 3 chicken. Hawk laid again today!

4 eggs today, from Helmi, Marzo, Août and Juillet

Juillet laid hers behind the run door. I smacked it with the door when I went to let them out, and it broke. The egg was white with bloom, so she must have been holding it too long. Her reproductive system is often slow, and she never seems to care about the egg after she lays it. Whereas Août, my other Cuckoo Marans (blue), is a bit obsessive about eggs and will roll them to a safe place when she finds them outside the nest box. I wish she’d found this one before I did!

Today (6/16) I got a total of 8! Half and half, 4 duck and 4 chicken.

Unfortunately it looks like one of the newer eggs quit. I will try and candle again in a day or so (depends on what the one due to hatch Wednesday does) to confirm, even though I'm certain it didn't make it.
The new eggs are on day 7.
