A few of mine are going thru a heavy molt and one's hatching chicks

4 chicken, 2 duck. Half my chicken flock is in their molting period, but atleast one of my younger hens began laying.

We got eight eggs yesterday out of our 9 oldest pullets! New egg layer with the orange (we’ve got 2 orange-y egg layers!) and one was GREEN green! I love it so much!

Seven eggs from seven hens. You go girls! Four Delaware (Miss Prissy, Miss Broody, Custard, and Bagel), two Leghorns (Speedy and Gonzo), and one Australorp (Lady Lucy Von Bockenston XIV Baroness of all this and that).
