16 yesterday, 10 from pullets. I’ve confirmed who 2 eggs are coming from and then this one popped up so now it’s the guessing game again. So far I’m guessing it’s from one of the 2 OE daughters who hatched from a similar shade minus the spots. If I didn’t know any better I would think it came from a game bird.

Every so often one of my girls lays 2 eggs in one day. I have 10 chickens but only 3 that lay green eggs. About every other week I get 4 green eggs in one day. Is this a common thing?

What a sweet face your mare has!

What is the name of the hen in the photo? Does she have a little crest? Adorable!

The mare, Reenie, is a thoroughbred and is 24 yrs old.

The hen is Eli-too, she has wee wattles and a cushion comb or sorts. She is one of my escape artists, I have about 6 or 7 that fly really well and can go over a 6’ fence no problem - brats! That’s what they are brats!

Today I have at least 5 eggs - too lazy to go check, but guess I should get off my butt and start getting the eggs and checking to make sure everyone is ok.
