Got 9 chicken and 2 duck eggs today. I just delivered 2 dozen eggs in town today and the guy said he's waiting for the ducks to start laying so I will gift him a half dozen to try and hopefully he will be buying the duck eggs. So now I'm thinking that I might have gotten 12 but since I didn't write down how many I got this morning I will leave it as 11.

12 today. The fowl pox has cleared and so far there are no signs of molting.

I got 7 eggs for the first time today from the 9 of my girls who are of laying age. My daily count should start going up in about 2-4 weeks when my 4 youngest bantams get to that age as well. I love this guessing game, how many eggs will it be today. On a side note I think I have my first Broodie as well, she doesn’t want to get out of the lay box the last couple days.
