How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I found 2 today! They are being buried instead of the hen/hens laying them in the nesting box I finally had enough to make a small batch of scrambled eggs. They were delicious! What a blessing!

None! The 5+ year old Buff Orpingtons have stopped laying for winter, and the 4 Buff Brahmas and 4 Gold-Laced Wyandottes are 22 weeks old and haven't started laying yet. Looks like everyone is freeloading until Spring 2026.

That's most of mine, barring the Silkie. I was hoping to get a few eggs from the newest girls before winter, but seems I'll be waiting. Oh well.

I'm just hoping to get at least two hens. It's still up in the air for Crown and one of the twins is developing a fluffier face than the other.
