Thanks! I’ll check it out, meanwhile Flopsy has did an about face and started eating yesterday afternoon/evening!

This morning she tucked into layer pellets, warm mash and a cabbage I had put down for the kiddos.

I just came back out and put her out for a few minutes with my silkies and Mr P and she tucked into more mash.

These chooks are giving me grey hair!

Wonderful! She must be feeling better if she’s eating. I hope things keep improving

Thank you, I lost her sister and a young Polish pullet to crop issues this past Summer and Autumn, I have had so much crop issues it’s made me paranoid. I am now giving them raw veggie daily, keep their system moving and try to stop them from eating hay. Cabbage, carrots, sweet peppers….

Today I got 11 eggs

Have the treatment down pat now. I treated her other sister Topsy a couple weeks ago, at the first sign of trouble. Three days and she was good to go.

I have been doing a crop grope on the whole flock now in the morning before they leave their roost. I set my headlamp to red light sneak in the coop and cop a feel I have 32 in one hen house and another 10-ish in another. So far everyone is ok.

TWELVE eggs on Christmas Day! Six were pullet eggs from The Australorps, that means they are ALL laying, woot! They are chocolate dark like a Maran egg bc they are so small.
Six eggs today, I think.

Still at 9 from mine all younger but good size.
Have one gal laying soft eggs, these have been over a year.
Thinking how to help pretty sure it is one of the blue girls.
Going to maybe get some tums crush 2 add few drops water put in syringe dose each.

4 today. The most we’ve had is 3 a couple times a week (my polish lays 2-3 times a week) until today when my good layers have slowly gotten back into it.

Me too! They protest, but I don’t feel secure until I know all those crops are 100% flat.
