We only got two today. We had a hawk scare yesterday afternoon, and the girls were out of sorts today. Praise LORD JESUS none of them were hurt!!! And I am still thankful for those two eggs!!

We actually had three yesterday! Cheddar decided to lay after they had been put to bed.

One was cracked open, on the ground. Fortunately not eaten by the birds!

Gave it to the dog, who ate the shell as well, so couldn't identify whose egg it was.

I just finished my yearly egg tally for 2025, and thought I would share. I'm so proud of my little flock of 6 hens!

Juillet laid from February 10th to August 4th, plus a soft egg in September.

Août laid from January 1st to September 8th, and then from December 7th through the end of the year.
