3 eggs yesterday, from Juin, Marzo and Ebrel

Ebrel is on antibiotics for her bumblefoot that still hasn’t healed, so her eggs are supposed to be tossed. I might just feed them back to her.

Monday I had 16 chicken and 1 duck eggs. 4 eggs were frozen (including the duck’s) and then I fumbled 2 good eggs while I was putting them in the carton. Needless to say I had scrambled eggs for dinner. Yesterday got 14 eggs, none of which froze.

Today I’m up to 1 (frozen) duck egg and 5 chicken eggs. I’ve noticed a couple more girls are picking up on laying which is good.

I need to clean out the coop a bit and bed them down with more straw. That cold weather should be here tomorrow and my poor birdies are sad already with a few having sore feet… I made them another sheltered area with a tarp over 2 picnic tables and a pile of dry leaves. They just have to figure it out now.

I got the 2 duck eggs but one has a small hole in it. I don't know if my chickens are trying to eat them or the ducks or it could just be a predator
