Only 17 today... guess some needed a break.

7 yesterday and 6 today was getting over a dozen a day. the daylight must be throwing them off all of a sudden. been getting light out later and darker earlier guess i will try a light in the coop on a timer on at 3 or 4 am give them a few more hrs of daylight and see if that works.

I sent some eggs with my husband to give out at his work. Hopefully that will get me another customer. Another lady that I gave a dozen to last week called and wants another dozen. WOOHOO!

4/6.. that's the most ever. My other white LH finally started laying, she is now earning her keep! I had a new dark brown egg that I haven't had yet. I wish I knew which chickadee laid it so I could thank her

Yesterday we had no brown egg from Omlet. Instead, we had 1 very light pinkish egg. Bet that is granddaughter's EE. So far no eggs today, but it is early. When I checked about 10 a.m. Omlet was sitting on the nest and her "friend" was singing the egg song. Get with it girls!
