I just came in from collecting the morning eggs... 12 so far, going to be a good day!

Midday picked up 14 and one was pecked but not leaking but there was yolk all over it. So someone is eating eggs again.

10/18 All in different laying nest boxes....I do have two who lay late in the day now, around 5 pm or so....I'll often hear the egg song this time of day....
Fed the ladies watermelon today...they sure love that stuff......may be the red color has some attraction.

Only six today, nary a green egg now in over a week! All three EEs are in serious molt, judging by the size of the eggs, the three barred rocks are laying, one buff, and two RIRs. The rest are on vacation!
