3/7 I got one this morning from my BR pullet. When I came home tonight there were 2 more!!! I think a BR and a RIR at 21 weeks. I am so happy I have 2 more layers!!! I am also thrilled that they did come back to the coop and laid them right in the nest boxes. I was sure they'd lay them out in the wood somewhere. Such good girls!!

We had a 'board meeting' after I gathered eggs, today!! 2 eggs out of 7 brown egg layers and the EE and Ameraucanas still aren't laying...

I was talking very ugly about them after I sat on a bucket, keeping guard, while it was raining and cold for them to play in the rain--- for two eggs a day.....something is wrong here.... LOL

16 eggs out of 20 hens. One of my BOs has gone broody at 26 weeks of age! She is usually very sweet but attacked me when I tried to take the eggs from her. I shoved her off the nest but she jumped right back on and pushed the fake egg (a fake lime) tight under her and settled down again.
