two yesterday. 1 sm cream from bantam minorca and 1 sm light brown from bantam cochin!
9 from 17 they may have talk to their
union rep and are taking a few days off.

8! My first 8 egg day.
Only problem is that 1 brown egg was laying by the back steps. I collected it. Then went to the coop and found 1 brown egg laying out in front of the coop in the dirt. I collected it. Found some eggs inside in the nest boxes, yay! But not enough white eggs so I went hunting. Found 1 white egg under some junk in the garage.
Now...I found 4 brown eggs. But.....I only have 3 brown layers? My cochins, SO FAR, have only laid really light tan almost cream colored eggs. My RIR and Jersey Giant all lay brown eggs. WHERE DID THE FOURTH EGG COME FROM?
I am so confused.
