How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

5/14 yesterday and at least 6/14 today. We have had overnight temps in the mid to lower 20's most of the week.

I dont know about you guys but if I was as cold as my babies probably were today-twenties-I couldnt squat to lay an egg! I got 19/23 yeah

16 out of 19 today. Winter's starting to set in here in the Carolinas so I expect egg production to drop off in the coming days.

:ast night the temperatures got down into the mid teens and that just to cold. Today the girls showed their displeasure by only giving me 4 eggs for 31 b irds that should be laying.

I got 3 eggs from 4 layers today, which has been pretty normal since the weather cooled.
I guess your birds are just more grouchy then mine! (I'm just picking - next week I'll probably be eating my foot when they all decide to quit laying on me

I was 2 for 2 from my girls today! but if you want to get technical I retrieved 3 from the box today! My one hen hid one under the straw yesterday and I didnt find it. Thank god for 20 degree temps! I didnt have to throw it away!
