11/23 the same as yesterday, maybe they are just in holding mode waiting till I need them to really put out as I've got 20 doz. boxed up for sale at the moment.

3 out of 4, I swear Queenie must be hiding eggs. Probably protesting that I moved teenagers into the doghouse where she used to prefer to lay.
I'm gonna leave 'em all in the coop tomorrow.

Four out of four, my first hen started laying the 5th of October two more started two weeks later the last hen started November 9 in that length of time they have laid 232 eggs. They are working hard to keep me happy and I'm working to keep them happy. Two golden comets and two RIR

Getting about 8-9 a day from about 9 hens. I say "about" because I have a lot of old ladies in there that sometimes lay.

18 out of our 19 Gold Comets, again... Inquiries have been made as to who is holding out. I've put the squeeze on Floppsie. She'll give up the slacker! I can't say enough about these GC's. They are the best layers. And we get great big extra large to jumbo eggs every day. Great bunch of Gals!!!
