How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I am happy to be getting 3 eggs a day still from my 3 red sex-link hens.I thought for sure I would get none once they were locked in the shed for most of the day.

16/19 today..a great egg day,

First day to ever get 3!!! We have 11 girls all maturing into laying ages but with the lack of light they have been slow to kickstart. First our RIR (almost large brown) then our Wheaton EE (nice 2.1 oz green ones) and NOW our other EE layed a medium olivish/green one today) Woohoo so proud!

4/5 today. not bad. I don't think my hen with the crossed beak will ever lay. She's more like our charity case.

Probably for 3 reasons
1- The weather is awful
2- She's lonely since...
3- She just witnesseed the rest of the flock's murder! (Fox) Thats a lot of stress for my little baby to handle!

Mine are just starting to lay after their molt. I was gettng none, then last week it went to 2. Yesterday, when I had 2 escape their pen, one of the pullets laid her first tiny egg in the goat stall. This morning I found 3 eggs in their nest box, one really large one and 2 normal sized eggs. So, half my layers are laying. My 2 Polish are not doing anything, but they are not under lights either.

3/4 for the past 2 days. I have a doz beautiful white Leghorn eggs in the carton.
I think Queenie has gone on strike! I miss brown eggs!!!!!!!

13/19 today bought 2 more layers today. so we will see what tommorow brings for eggs.
