19 out of our 19 Gold Comets!!! Way to go, Gals!!! Whoop!!! Whoop!!! Whoop!!! One of our Gals lays late in the day. We had 18 at noon when I last checked but when I went back out to lock them up sure enough there was number 19.

5/23 the worst percentage I've had since last winter, sure hope they get done with this molt soon. It will soon be time for collecting eggs for the hatching season. I'd like to start in Feb. as this is my normal time to start each year, so them girls better get on the stick and get busy.

I think Amy (the Minorca) is sulking b/c she likes to lay in one of the horse's hayracks. My son was throwing hay down from the hay loft the other day and didn't notice her doing her business, so threw hay on her. Ooops! Lots of squawking and complaining and ruffled dignity.........

She has been known to lay in the barn cats box - I suppose I should check that tomorrow.
