0/23 the first time that I have not gotten at least 1 or 2 eggs in the 3 1/2 years that I started raising chickens and selling eggs after about a 20 year hiatus. IDK? Seems like every thing went loco all the sudden even my pullets that aren't molting quit all of the sudden. I didn't change feeding habits or anything on my part other than the temps are finally colder here than they have been being. So now I've upped their protien intake and cut out the grain in the morning hoping that they will concentrate on their laying pellets instead of getting full on grain early in the day and give them a little grain to go to roost on to digest for the colder nights. We'll see how goes this for a little bit. I need these gals back up and running by the end of Jan. to start collecting hatching eggs for the upcoming hatching season. I like to start in Feb. to give the chicks a good start before the weather gets hot here in the deep south as they grow off better.
