How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

5 today! Found two soft-shelled eggs in the coop yesterday! This seems to happen about once a month.

25/35 found one of them out in the run, it is about the size of a robin's egg, so that means one of my youngin's is now starting to lay, I knew it shouldn't be long off as their combs are really starting tyo get big and red.

winter, short days...we were getting 20-22 large to jumbo eggs per day from 24 hens.
SPRING! long days...12 eggs and medium to small. What's going on? seasonally dyslexic ?

5/7, somebody was coming to get a doz eggs and the birds shorted me on!!! Good thing I had a couple extras that were just a day older. Naughty little hens!
