How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Hmmmm, 20/24 and the day isn't over yet. One of my girls laid a mondo egg, her second in as many days. This one had a hard enough shell that I could pick it up. Ouch, poor baby!!

one of the ladies went broody and I had to put her in a cage yesterday,she told me about how she liked being locked up..all day today.I finally told her I didn,t want to hear anymore of it,but it didn,t do a bit of good,,could someone teach me how to speak chickenese???

26/35 tied for the most my girls have laid in a single day. I'm proud of that average as some of my 'ol gals aren't spring chicks anymore so they're surely not going to produce 100% everyday so I'll take it for good.

I haven't shared anything here for a while but I've been keeping a record of the number of eggs I've been getting EVERY DAY!!!

Here's some numbers from the last 6 days: 3, 8, 5, 6, 7, 6. Last month the average was around 5-6 and in the last couple of weeks I've seen egg numbers shoot up! It's the Spring
