1/19. ONE! Out of 19! What the heck? OK, so 13 are molting. Fine, I forgive them. But the other 6? AND, I think the one that was laid was from a girl that's molting! GRRR.
10/10. Kind of weird, the last few weeks I have only got 1-4 a day, sometimes none at all. I am on vacation this week and am getting 8-10. I think its time to lock the coop while I am at work!!!
Haven't posted in a while. so far today 6 out of 8 but I think today will be a 7 out of 8. I will never see an 8 out of 8 day. I have a slacker rir hen.

My Gals may be showing some signs of it because I see a few stray feathers on the ground and a couple of them are showing some white, especialy on their breasts. But egg production has been steady. Only a month? Well, that's good news because these cubicle rats here at work will string me up if their food supply is messed with for too long. Just for safety sake I think I may start buying a few dozen cheap brown eggs at WallyWorld and pass those off to them for the molting period. Hey, I ain't gonna die because my chickens decide to change feathers!!!
Yesterday I got 10/10. Today i had 12 eggs but only have 10 girls. Could they be laying at night? The reason I ask is I collect the eggs at around 8am. Yesterday I got 10, the day before 8, today 12. Whats up with these ladies, not that I mind a dozen in a day.
