19 from our 19 GC layers. The 11 youngsters are still a couple of weeks away from laying at the earliest. They are now 20 weeks old. When we got the original 19 we got six 18 week old started pullets first and they started laying within 4 weeks. Then 6 more and the same. They were followed by the last 7 who some started as early as 20 weeks. So if history is any indicator...

We doubled our income! Yesterday and the day before we got 1/24, today we got 2/24! Stupid freakin hens. Lazy butts anyway.

We got 4 out of the 4 hens that are laying today, for the first time since we got them for a Mother's Day gift this year. 2 RIR hens, and 2 little red banties... the RIR that wasn't laying before, layed a huge, bizarre shaped egg today, think it was her first!

Wondering how long it will be til my broody momma banty lays again; her chicks are almost all feathered out.
