How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

My 9 hens are averaging 1 eery other day.... Guess the cold and getting dark earlier has really affected them... WE EVEN ADDED A LIGHT A FEW HOURS A DAY!!!! Guess, maybe I'll give them a break..

Oh, and pretty sure eggs go pointy side up. I don't remember where I read it but I know I did.

6/7 Either one short or a soft egg, is there something that causes then to drop those every few days? Good for the dog, but that about it!

7/14 today. Over the past 4 weeks I have averaged 46.25 eggs. I'm not sure how they can lay a .25 egg. I really getting to be a chicken nerd with all my keeping track of egg totals for the day, weeks, months.

None - that'd be none from 10 hens 2 days in a row. . . . I know that they should be throttling back this time of year but what the heck? Not any nests either so I don't think anyone is eating eggs.

SIX!!! Highest number yet out of my 9 hens. I think some of them are still learning. Some of them are up to medium size, but I still get some itsy ones.
