9/9 Apparently my two day slowdown, 7/9 and 6/9, is over and thank God for that.

NO eggs today, but I only have 3 hens and only 2 are laying (one is molting). I can't say I'm surprised with the shorter colder days, but I didn't like seeing all empty nest boxes. I need more hens! Hurry up spring when I plan to add to my flock!

3 for 3. Batting 1000 today. Thank you girls. Actually Wynonna the One Legged Wonder Chicken is sitting in her crate in the window behind me singing her egg song as I write this.

The gals had a slow day today. 3/14. I gave'em a pep talk, so tomorrow they should do better. They have been 8-10 all week til today.
