10/16... it was kinda cold here today (50 degrees), so not complaining!

8/15 layed today, plus DH found a hidden nest of 16 behind my pampas grass. I used a high intensity flashlight to candle the eggs and they appeared clear. I also floated them and they all sank like a rock.

I'm still going to crack them into a bowl as I use them though...a bad experience with a rotten egg the year DH and I were married still haunts me 29+ years later!
