How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

17 out of the 30 so far, but they lay all day so got to collect a couple times aday. 3 dark brown from my Cuckoo Marans, some pink and blue/green from the EEs , 1 white, and all the rest are tinted to light brown from the cochins, orpingtons, sexlinks and various mixes . Yesterday I only got 12 , I think they were too busy playing in sun and all to worry about laying eggs.

Surprise! 3 for 3 which is unusual as one or the other is usually broody!

Only got 22/30 today. Had a big cleaning day yesterday, coop, nest box, and run. Maybe threw them off a bit?

Well, I almost feel silly posting this after reading how many eggs others are gathering, but I'm really excited that for the first time ever we got three eggs today. Our four hens and one rooster were delivered to us last Saturday and we've been alternating one egg on one day and two eggs on the next ever since they got here.

I was shocked when I opened the door to the nesting box this afternoon and found three!
